Electronic Parking Brake

Easy to initiate and release, the Electronic Parking Brake, standard across the range, engages the parking brake at the touch of a button. With the auto-hold function, the car is kept stationary even when the brake pedal is released.

Heated & Ventilated Front Seats

It’s not just all the legroom that makes the front seats so comfortable. Enjoy heated and ventilated driver’s and front-passenger’s seats for comfort in all types of weather. On hot days, this feature can circulate air throughout the seat to help cool you down. When it’s cold, you can stay warm by choosing from three different heat settings.

The Memory System allows you and another driver to save your preferred positions, so the Carnival recognises who’s who, then moves the driver’s seat, and outside mirrors accordingly.

Carnival’s cloth seating features repel-and-release YES Essentials® technology for stain resistance, so even messy spills clean up easily. Plus, advanced fibers help eliminate lingering odours that moisture can leave behind.

Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB)*

Designed to monitor and detect vehicles travelling ahead of you, the Autonomous Emergency Braking system automatically applies the brakes if it determines a crash is imminent, helping to avoid a frontal collision or mitigate the effects of a collision if it cannot be avoided. Standard across the range.

Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS)*

Forward Collision Warning system activates and alerts when the vehicle detects objects immediately ahead that may cause a potential impact, encouraging the driver to decelerate.

Blind Spot Detection (BSD) & Lane Change Assist (LCA)*

The blind spot detection system actively monitors the driver’s blind spots for approaching vehicles and provides a visual alert on the outside mirrors, as well as an audible alert when necessary.

360° View Camera

Confidently navigate tight spots with the available 360° Camera View system. Using four cameras, located at the front, rear, and sides, the Carnival projects a bird’s-eye view directly onto your screen. The result is a virtually 360° perspective for easier, more convenient maneuvering.

Rear View Camera & Rear Parking Sensors

Know your surroundings better with a rear view camera showing obstacles behind you on the screen, as well as rear parking sensors giving an audible warning when detecting certain objects close to your vehicle.

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)*

Designed to detect the vehicle moving out of its lane without the turn indicator being used, the Lane Departure Warning system alerts the driver with a combination of audible and visual warnings.

Smart Cruise Control

Available Smart Cruise Control uses radar to maintain a predetermined distance from the vehicle directly ahead, automatically slowing or accelerating your Carnival when appropriate.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)*

The available Rear Cross Traffic Alert detects and warns the driver of cross traffic while the Carnival is in reverse by activating audible and visual alerts, and comes in handy when backing out of tight places, like a parking space.
